CHARLES HAROLD WOOD: (Aerie x ?) seedling F-89; mid-season herbaceous lactiflora with 10 cm white Jap goblets held 20 cm above foliage; gracefully balanced plant with noble proportions; up to 4 flowers on upright 100 cm  stems. Price: 99 euro.

CHARLOTTE RATTENBURY (Sumvitg x P. obovata willmottiae): seedling F-69; totally new, early herbaceous hybrid with 15 cm semi-double flowers in a composition of medium pink, dark pink, and silver; floriferous, vigorously-spreading bush with stems  up to 100 cm; this variety exhales the magic of floating water-plants; poetry in shades of evening pink; limited supply (two or three divisions). CONCORDIA DROYSEN (origin unknown): seedling MI-202, early-flowering herbaceous hybrid; yellow flowers with a lime glow-intensity; very strong plant with husky stems and vigorous fertility, the best yellow single we have set eyes on. Price: 109 euro.

RAINMAKER (origin unknown): seedling N-40; totally new, mid-season herbaceous hybrid; spectacularly dark double on peregrina-style bush with airy, finely-cut leaflets; 70 cm upright stems; a light-catching black ruby of a gem-plant; limited supply (nil or one division). Price: 199 euro.   

QUITZIN (parentage unknown): seedling MO-111; early mid-season herbaceous hybrid bomb; cream-buff guards hold massive, ever-expanding yellow centre with greenish core-glow transmuting to tropical apricot-peach; stems need support to carry numerous, heavy-scented, increasingly massive blooms; fast root-increase; propagates easily; some pollen and many seeds; unmatched as seed-parent of yellow-style hybrid doubles; buds often sharply lime-green before opening; a new division will at first produce uninterestingly single or modestly Jap-style blooms; after some years plants starts progressively shifting into full glory, producing a vast number of oversized, yellow-glowing flowers; half a dozen divisions available.
